one week! one week! one week!

I had to post the link to the CROSSED trailer again. I love this trailer so much…

One week until CROSSED is out in the world. I’ve been working on a slew of blog entries for the official blog tour, and I will be sure to post links to those as they come up. And don’t forget to brush up on your Matched Facts. Many thanks again to Penguin Teen for putting them together!

I’m so excited to head out on tour (for the full schedule, click here) and hopefully meet many of you! The official launch party is Tuesday, November 1, at The King’s English. And before that, THIS VERY WEEKEND, I will be speaking and signing at the St. George Book Festival on Saturday, October 29th. We’ll have early copies of CROSSED on sale there and at the Barnes and Noble signing afterward. Click on the Events page for more info.

Also, the event on November 12th at the Provo Library for the Provo Library Teen Book Fest is going to be epic. I don’t use this word lightly. They are renowned for creating fantastic events and I hear rumors there will be a Cassia in a green dress in the crowd. Also stations for signing, etc. You need a (free) ticket to attend and they are giving books away to the first 500 teens in attendance. I’ll be giving the keynote at noon, followed by signing and a panel. Dystopian authors Robison Wells, Elana Johnson, and Kristen Landon will also be presenting and signing. For the full schedule, and more info, click here.

Thank you for reading the blog, and for your support of the series!

Makes me want to hop on a plane! You must come to North Carolina one day. I noticed at my local library today that your book was voted the second most popular in YA. Speaking for the 30ish Mom group, you’re number one! Congrats and looking forward to reading CROSSED.

Wow, I can’t wait until the book comes out. I pre-ordered decades ago for my Kindle! I’m dying to read it. The trailer is amazing; Ky’s eyes are like, holy crap blue. I pictured them all younger, but hey, I still appreciate the trailer soooo much. Also, I am SO psyched you’re a NaNoWriMo pep talker! ๐Ÿ˜€ I saw that and freaked out a little :p This is a long comment but…I am just so thrilled that you actually reply to these things. The excerpt you gave was totally awesome, too. I LOVED it. Can’t wait! Oh, and the reason I put my Fanfiction account up there was just in case you are crazy bored and want to make a HUGE fan immensely happy, you could read a oneshot of mine and let me know what you think of it by leaving an anonymous review? ๐Ÿ™‚ I’d recommend Big Brother – my stories aren’t hard to understand even if you don’t know what my “fandom” is, I promise! But that’s just if you’re really, really bored and….yeah. Haha you probably don’t have enough time anyway ๐Ÿ˜‰

I loved how you incorperated the poem but i think that if you make it into a movie (which you should totally do!) I think you should choose different people for it like

    Cassia: Lucy Hale
    Ky: Drew Roy
    Xander: Alex Pettyfer
    Bram: Zachrey Gordon
    Official: Olivia Wilde
    Mom: Gwentyh Paltrow
And the Dad, Grandfaher, and Em I don’t know about:)
