indie next, reviews, articles, blog tour!

Huge news! MATCHED was named #1 on the Winter 2010/2011 Kid’s Indie Next List. This is an enormous honor–independent booksellers choose the list and I am thrilled to be on it and floored to be the #1 pick. Click here to see the full list!

There have also been some very exciting reviews in the past week:

Click here to read the review in Entertainment Weekly.

Click here to read the review in the Wall Street Journal.

This past Sunday, the Deseret News (a statewide paper here in Utah) ran this article.

And the official MATCHED blog tour continues this week over on Novel Novice. They have been lovely enough to feature MATCHED all week long. Many thanks!

And the wonderful Andrea Cremer (author of NIGHTSHADE) is also featuring MATCHED on her blog this week! Thank you, Andrea!

Very kind people have been asking me how all of this feels and I will tell you…tomorrow. On the official release day of MATCHED. (Oh my goodness, it’s almost here!!)

(Also, my apologies for the lengthy title of this blog post. Apparently titles are just not my strength.)

Congratulations Ally! I got ahold of an ARC copy of Matched and loved it! I’m excited to see where it goes. (I’m Emily D.’s friend, BTW.) Good luck with the release.

Congrats Ally! I wrote the Indie Next blurb quite a while ago–just after I’d read the ARC and before I passed it along to several of my staff members. I had no idea it had been picked until our newsletters appeared last week. So glad to see it was picked and is getting so much positive attention. We put it in our holiday catalog and will be thrilled to handsell it. Good luck!!

I’m so excited to read it! I just got a raving email from Brook! I feel like we’re dear friends since we have so many lovely friends in common. Too bad I don’t live in Utah. I’d love to get to know you better! Congrats on everything! What a dream come true! Amazing.
